It is statistically better to have a few entries in many comps, than lots in one comp.

Enter FREE Internet comps as much as possible. People really do win on Internet comps.

Tip 3 -

When calling up for a 1900 comp; state your name clearly, but quickly; and include your phone number first. Some recordings cut off in too short a time to get all your details down.

Tip 4 -

Get your entries in as early as possible to ensure they are in the draw bag.

Tip 5 -

Never be tempted to cheat by using "Entry-Robots" programs to fill in multiple entries. This will lead to automatic disqualification if caught and many sites have specialised software to monitor such cheating.

Tip 6 -

The best slogans usually meet all of the following points:
They Rhyme;
They mention the prize or company giving away the prize;
They're funny.

Tip 7 -

Set up an email signature with your name, address and daytime phone number so you don't have to keep typing the details into your email!

Tip 8 -

Stack the odds in your favour by entering competitions with lots of runner up prizes. Always give yourself the best chance of winning.

Tip 9 -

Use Google to research answers for online puzzles. Simply type in part of the question or clue and the answer should be in the first couple of results!
